RAJCAN is a functional structure to promote productive employment and micro-enterprise. We aim to achieve sustainable livelihood by strengthening youth’s technical and functional skills.

Vocational Education (Skill Development Programs)

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”

We enabling self-reliance is the belief that permeates everything we do. Our aim is to impart education and training to women and youth so that they can live a self-reliant life of dignity and respect. Our vocational training programs shall provide marketable skills to the beneficiaries that can help them get competitive jobs.

RAJCAN’s education program is driven with an objective of reaching out to the most marginalized of all groups: the girl child, poor bright children, the urban poor; it provides them with a chance for holistic education, development & livelihood.

A sponsorship program for students has been initiated to support under privileged students for their regular education & skill development needs.

1. Sponsorship program or Scholarships – RajCAN identifies and provides support to bright students, girl child through scholarships at every level. It is a link to continuous performance to encourage students and parents to earn the same.
2. Supplementary learning Center – Extra Classes RajCAN’s education program is designed to provide children from weaker sections access to learn with special focus on quality and retention. “Educate me” program, helps improve the quality of learning, RajCAN sets up supplementary learning classes. It is volunteer based activity.
3. Alternate Education Program – Provides opportunities to illiterate youth or older community people to have formal education as well as digital literacy.

RajCAN works for Dignity and Pride of traditional Folk Artists and street performers in Rajasthan. We support not only artist also provide education to their children, along with soft skills needed for livelihood generation through its various activities, events, advocacy forums and networks.

Integrating the arts and humanities into the fabric of daily life, RajCAN presents exhibitions of contemporary art, free distribution of biodegradable products, readings of poetry and fiction, workshops for adults and youths, and lectures on regional aspects of art and history. Partnerships are continually being build with various community organizations.

RajCAN believes that women empowerment will benefit the whole society. We hope, will bring a considerable change in the lives of woman by through

• Providing market oriented vocational skill training to women.
• Help mothers of children, who are attending educational classes, by additionally imparting them with skill training and income generation activities.
• Integration of adult literacy with skill training and income generation or making literacy a precondition for skill training and income generation activities.
• Development of leadership within the communities and linking them with government and non-government facilities.
